02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Snowball Trust supports the welfare of children in hospital, principally through donations to existing bodies to help families with out-of-pocket travel, food and accommodation expenses at their time of need. These funds are primarily distributed via social services at Edinburgh and Glasgow Children's Hospitals. We also give funding to Crossbasket House to support their work.

(TWO) For such other charitable purposes and to such other charitable bodies associations or institutions, and especially but without prejudice to the foregoing generality any having among their aims and objects the assistance of families with children in hospital or other treatment centres,
