02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Stormontfield Community Association was set up to run events and activities in the Stormontfield Community Hall for the benefit of the local community and to maintain the internal fabric of the building. Events and activities are organised throughout the year. This includes talks, music events, community dinners, coffee morning, first aid training and fortnightly indoor bowls over the winter. Also available are darts and pool. The committee members liaise with Perth & Kinross Council to ensure the hall remains water tight and to allow access for the regular safety checks like water testing and fire inspections. The committee is responsible for keeping the hall in a reasonable condition internally.
