02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Based in the heart of Kinross, Swansacre is a long standing charity playgroup for children aged 2 – 5 years. We run a number of sessions each week, based around the school term. Our primary objective is to provide a safe, secure, interesting and above all, fun environment where children can learn and develop through play.

Constitutional objectives
a) To provide safe and satisfying group play in which parents take part when appropriate. b) to encourage other charitable activities through which parents may support the development of children. c) To promote the aims of the Early Years Scotland, which are to advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and also to advance the education of their parents, and other appropriate persons.
