Constitutional objectives

The aims of the Group shall be: a) To achieve the restoration, renovation and conservation of the property known as Tangwick Haa, Eshaness, Shetland. b) To create and maintain within Tangwick Haa an information and exhibition centre for the benefit of Northmavine in particular, and the Shetland Islands in general, and of visitors to the area. c) To publish books, leaflets etc. within the Haa. the Haa itself and dealing with the collections with the Northmavine area and matters pertaining thereto. d) To organise meetings and elsewhere to promote information and culture of Northmavine. lectures within Tangwick and education about the Haa and history e) To undertake such other activities. charitable in law. To promote and preserve the history and culture of Northmavine for the benefit of the inhabitants of Northmavine and others without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. f) T o associate with Shetland Islands Council, the Amenity Trust and their successors in office. voluntary and professional organisations and inhabitants of Shetland in pursuance of these aims.
