What the charity exists to do
Educate members and public in relation to our railway heritage by restoring railway vehicles and artifacts. Displaying these to the public at our open days where we operate the vintage vehicles,

Constitutional objectives
To advance and promote the education of the general public, and in particular the inhabitants of Scotland without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating voluntary organisations, local authorities and other bodies of whatever status together w i t h the inhabitants in a common e f f o r t to establish a Museum of Railways with particular regard to the railways of F i f e , WHEREBY there shall be preserved and restored to original condition wherever possible locomotives, rolling stock and other equipment and relics of railways, of F i f e and of other parts of Scotland as may illustrate the characteristics of such railways and the course of railway history which are of actual or potential historic, scientific or educational value Qr importance. and WHEREBY there may be displayed and exhibited such i t e m s to the public to demonstrate to the public their working in a s t a t i c or operating display or by carrying the public in or upon such vehicles as may be appropriate or otherwise.
