02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To provide social facilities for residents and local groups within the Ecclesmachan and Threemiletwon area, such as Baby and Toddler groups, Dance Sessions, S.W.R.I, Trefoil, Local Community Council and similar organisations. The Hall is also available for private and corporate hire.

Constitutional objectives
To advance education and to pl'ovide, or assist in the provision of, facilities for recreation or other leisure- time occupation where such provision or assistance in provision:' i) is in the interests ot Social Welfare. and ii) is made with the object of improving the conditions of life of the members of the community I in the area of benefits. and for those purposes to associate with the Lothian Regional Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council'), voluntary organisations and inhabitants in the area of benefit.
