02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The funds are unrestricted funds. The income is achieved by organising and providing adult education classes on a wide variety of topics during the year. The costs of the classes are kept as low as possible such that the classes are available to a wide an audience as psooble. The expenditure is in respect of fees to tutors and costs of hiring suitable venues. The surplus achieved is used to make grants and donations to other charitable organisations whoc provide services to adults within the local area. Any balance is carried forward for future iivestment in additional classes and working capital.
