Own and manage Glenuig Hall and to encourage developments in the local community

Constitutional objectives
Subject to that over-riding qualification, the company's objects are:- (a) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of a community centre in Glenuig for activities promoted by the company in furtherance of its objects, or by any other Company or Association or unincorporated body having objects altogether or in part similar to those of the Company. (b) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Glenuig and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. (c) To relieve poverty, to encourage training, advancement of education, and the promotion of industry and commerce for the benefit of the public in Glenuig through (One) assisting people to find employment or to train or retrain them for employment as a means of relieving their poverty, (Two) the provision of advice and assistance with regard to the establishment and operation of organisations which are ,established for the promotion of industry and commerce for the benefit of the public in Glenuig, (Three) the provision of community enterprises for the benefit of the public within Glenuig (Four) the provision of training opportunities, (Five) the promotion and implementation of schemes of industry and commerce for the benefit of the public within Glenuig and (Six) the establishment and support of any Company or of any Association or other unincorporated body having objects altogether or in part similar to those referred to in sub-paragraphs (One) to (Five) above.
