02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Oxygen Works exists to support people living with neurological and complex health conditions to live their best lives. Based in Inverness, we provide access to a unique blend of therapies and services, from oxygen therapy and physiotherapy to a range of complementary approaches. Our aim is to empower individuals by offering choice in how they manage their health and wellbeing, helping them build resilience, independence and confidence. As a Scottish charity, we are committed to making our services affordable and accessible, ensuring that no one is excluded from the care they need. Since 1992, we have been a trusted place of excellence, compassion and community, welcoming people from across the Highlands and beyond. At the heart of everything we do is a focus on the individual – creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment where people feel understood, valued and able to thrive.

Constitutional objectives
The company’s purposes are: (a) The advancement of health. and (b) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability. This includes, but is not limited to: i. Bringing together persons impacted by from age, ill-health and disability. ii. Providing advice, guidance, moral and practical support for persons impacted by age, ill-health and disability. and iii. By providing therapy (including hyperbaric oxygen therapy) for persons impacted by age, ill-health and disability, as well as to those who are otherwise healthy but will benefit from said therapies
