02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Oxygen Works exists to help people living with long-term and complex health conditions live well, with greater choice, independence and confidence. Based in Inverness and serving communities across the Highlands and north of Scotland, we provide affordable and accessible health and wellbeing support tailored to the individual. Our services include oxygen therapy, specialist physiotherapy, rehabilitation, complementary therapies and wider wellbeing support. We take a holistic, person centred approach, recognising that everyone’s needs and goals are different. By combining specialist expertise, innovative therapies and compassionate care in a welcoming environment, we help people manage their health, maintain independence, build resilience and improve their quality of life.

Constitutional objectives
The company’s purposes are: (a) The advancement of health. and (b) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability. This includes, but is not limited to: i. Bringing together persons impacted by from age, ill-health and disability. ii. Providing advice, guidance, moral and practical support for persons impacted by age, ill-health and disability. and iii. By providing therapy (including hyperbaric oxygen therapy) for persons impacted by age, ill-health and disability, as well as to those who are otherwise healthy but will benefit from said therapies
