What the charity exists to do

To emphasise the rich natural and historic heritage, tradition and environment for the enjoyment and enlightenment of the public. To allow the public access to buildings of historic importance. Educate the public about the history and development of Findhorn . Promote local history and ecology.

To be established for charitable purposes and to acquire by purchase, l.ease, exchange or otherwise for developemnt, investement or resale and to traffic land and house and heritable property of any tenure or any interest therin. to promote, conserve, maintain, protect and develop a Heritage centre for the benefit of the local community and to acquire exhibits for the centre and carry out restoration and research in relation to the same for the purpose of public display of the said exhibits and education of the public by the results of research of research conducted by the centre and to carry out works for the improvement and development of the Heritage Centre
