02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Members of the choir are developed through weekly rehearsals and regular concerts and broadcasts both at home and sometimes abroad. Many young people have taken their skills and rigour learnt through the choir to develop musical interests after leaving school, as well as developing skills and confidence through taking part in group activities.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Association shall be to advance the education of young persons (between the ages of 7 and 18) in Perth and Kinross District by promoting the establishment and development of a musical choir or choirs.
