Constitutional objectives
3 AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The aim of the playgroup is to advance the education of pre-school children to prepare them for primary school and help them take a constructive place in the community. The playgroup will give preference to children with developmental delays or disorders in physical, mental or behavioural terms or with social difficulties. The age range of children will be from early infancy up to primary school age. Children will be helped towards integration into general education or into specialised playgroups or schools depending on each child's particular needs and progress. The playgroup aims to provide safe and stimulating group play which may involve parents. The playgroup also aims to support the parents of children.
