02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our motto is 'A place for people and a centre for all'. We provide a space for community groups to use to deliver their services. We provide our own services such as day-care, men's group, befriending, community café, IT classes, flower arranging classes and a community fridge as well as hosting the Bellshill Locality Consortium. We adapt to suit the needs of the communities we serve by exploring new initiative such as the community fridge which opened in October 2023 and has been well utilised by the community. We provide opportunities for volunteering and student placements, giving these groups the chance to learn new skills and develop their interests.
