What the charity exists to do

The charity acquires, manages and develops property in support of the schools and residential centres that provide people with special needs in order to equip them to find a place in the social order.

Constitutional objectives

The objects for which the Company is established are as follows: 1.(a) To make provision in accordance with the principles of the late Doctor Rudolf Steiner as carried out by the Camphill Movement for the education, training, therapy and rehabilitation of, and mutual community service for, children and young persons requiring special care for the development, of mind, character and body, including children and young persons who may be difficult, handicapped, maladjusted or backward in mental or physical achievements, as also young persons and adults who through physical or mental handicaps, social misdemeanours, lack of family care, old age or infirmity or otherwise are unable to find a place in the social order and adults who with increasing age require care or nursing so that such children, young persons, adults and others may be equipped to find a place in the social order and may develop as personalities able as far as possible to meet the world's emotional and educational needs. 1.(b) To carry on educational, therapeutic and medical (including medical research) work.
