Constitutional objectives
The aims and objectives of the centre shall be to promote the benefit of the community resident in the Middlefield area of the City of Aberdeen, (hereafter called 'The Neighbourhood') without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions by associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, to further health, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said community. To manage and administer the Lord Provost Henry E Rae Community Centre and to co-operate with the local statutory authorities in the maintenance of the above objects or any of them. The Centre shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
