02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

After being unable to hold many meetings during the last few years due to low numbers we were delighted to hold a BBQ in the summer for new members and potential members to join us. This was attended by nearly 30 people, it was great to see such interest in the club and we are delighted to have held an AGM and have a full committee in place once again. We have held meetings every two or three weeks and have enjoyed getting the club fully functional again. We have a full syllabus planned for the coming year with club meetings, games nights and lamb dressing training days with more events to be put in place as well as plans to attend our local agricultural show and also will be encouraging members to attend District and Regional competitions where possible. We are very positive about the future of the club.
