Provide a venue for Sound and 60 North youth clubs and for a variety of other regular and occasional user groups and organisations.

Constitutional objectives
2. Objects 2.1 To promote the welfare of the community resident in Sandveien and its surrounds (hereinafter referred to as 'the neighbourhood'), without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions, by associating with the local authority, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to further health. to advance education, to provide a meeting place and facilities for recreation, and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may by law be deemed to be charitable. 2.2 To secure the establishment, maintenance, and management ofa community centre for activities promoted by the Centre, in furtherance of the above objects, or any of them. 2.3 To provide, through the management of a neighbourhood centre youth club, (hereinafter referred to as 'Sound Youth Club') opportunities for young people, the neighbourhood, and the wider Shetland community, especially but not exclusively through leisure time activities, se to develop their physical, mental, and spiritual capacities so that they grow into and remain active members of their community and society.
