02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
PASS is set up to provide quality school aged childcare to children who attend St Conval's & Tinto Primary Schools during term time . We also operate an all-day provision during school holidays times. We achieve this by employing qualified staff who support with the children to play on a daily basis . We are funded by donations from parents who use the service.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of P.A.S.S. shall be: (a).To promote the care and education of children from lone parent and families on low income in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life. Priority being given to lone parents and families on a low income who reside in A.P.T. Areas. In furtherance thereof: (b) To provide a safe, warm and friendly atmosphere for the children, with a structured programme of activities which will advance the educational and recreational needs of the children. (c) To enable lone parents and families on a low income in employment/training/further education to have confidence regarding, the care of their child/en (d). Provide after school care, as defined above. (e). Provide playscheme placements, as defined above.(f). Assist the provision, maintenance and equipment of P.A.S.S. and raise money for this purpose. (g). To make and maintain contact with and enlist general support from other interested parties in the development and/or management of P.A.S.S.
