02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We support people in Lochaber who are living with disabilities or long-term health conditions to live more independently and feel more connected to their community. We do this by offering a free, friendly drop-in service where people can get help with benefits, forms, and advice. Our community transport service helps people get to important appointments, go shopping, or visit friends when public transport isn’t an option. We also run a supported volunteering programme that helps people build confidence, learn new skills, and give back. For those over 50 or feeling isolated, we offer social groups and one-to-one support to help improve wellbeing and quality of life.
