02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are to provide a village hall facility for the community of Plockton for the use of all local organisations to include, among others the playgroups, drama club, village school and library.

Constitutional objectives
The said subjects and buildings erected or to be erected thereon, hereafter referred to as 'the trust subjects' are dedicated and shall be held by the said Trustees and their successors in all time coming for the purposes of physical and mental recreation and spiritual, social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreations and entertainments, or otherwise as may be found expedient for the inhabitants of the Village of Plockton and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex or of political or other opinions, subject to the provisions of these presents but no alcoholic liquor ever to be sold or consumed on these premises.
