What the charity exists to do
The purpose of the National Prayer Breakfast for Scotland is to create and maintain, for the glory of God and the public benefit, a forum for united action by those who acknowledge God's revelation in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures by 1. Calling the people of Scotland to prayer and the study of the Christian Scriptures, 2. Encouraging the prayerful support of those in influence and authority in the nation of Scotland. and 3. promoting the values of the kingdom of Jesus Christ as a model for living in home, work, community and nation

4 The organisation's purpose is the promotion of religion in Scotland for the public benefit by creating and maintaining, for the glory of God and the public benefit, a forum for united action by those who acknowledge God's revelation in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures by 4.1 calling the people of Scotland to prayer and the study of the Christian scriptures 4.2 encouraging the prayerful support of those in influence and authority in the nation of Scotland 4.3 promoting the values of the kingdom of Jesus Christ as a model for living in home, work, community and nation.
