Constitutional objectives

The company’s objects are: (1) To relieve poverty, and in particular (but without limitation) to provide relief from (a) the problems of poverty associated with dilapidated and dirty common areas and facilities and (b) the problems of poverty caused by the effects of cold, badly insulated and draughty housing and shortage of money to meet fuel costs. (2) To relieve the needs of persons suffering from mental or physical disability, illness or impairment or old age and, in particular (but without limitation) to assist elderly, disabled and infirm householders to care for, repair, maintain, adapt, modify and improve their homes and ancillary garden and common areas. (3) To advance the education and to promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds. (4) To promote and preserve the environment, and in particular to assist in the adoption of practices which are directed towards reducing unnecessary depletion of natural resources and/or reducing the volume of non-recycled waste. (5) To preserve, conserve, restore and improve the environment, in particular (but without limitation) through the planting of trees and the execution of other landscaping works in the interests of public amenity on waste grounds and on areas which are in need of improvement and through the construction, repair and/or maintenance of footpaths, dykes, cycleways, seashore, and riverside areas and recreational play areas. (6) To promote, establish operate and/or support other projects and programmes of a charitable nature.
