Constitutional objectives

The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the Collection in trust for the following purposes: (a) Payment by the Trustees of the expenses of establishing and administering the Trust hereby created. (b) The advancement of the education of the general public by the provision of a Museum and the provision in the Museum of the Collection in respect of which Collection there will be a strong presumption against subsequent disposal. (c) The protection of the Collection from deterioration, damage, loss, accidental destruction or unauthorised disposal.
