02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
BeFriends Dundee, a small charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged 5-25, is proud to present our 2024/25 Annual Report. Our mission to raise aspirations, build skills, and foster community involvement through one-to-one befriending and group activities has continued to transform lives across Dundee. This year, despite challenges, we’ve made significant strides in empowering young people, thanks to the unwavering commitment of our volunteers, staA, and supporters.

The company’s objects are: to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of children and young people in need within the city of Dundee and the environs without distinction of political, religious and other opinions, to advance the general education and health and relieve the stress among children and young people from disadvantaged families in necessitous circumstances.
