What the charity exists to do

The charity was set up to direct the income or capital for the relief of hardship suffered by the dependants of any person who is a resident in Scotland, and who has been the victim of an accident, fatal or otherwise, at sea and in particular the victim of an accident in the Off-shore Petroleum Industry within the British Sector The Trustees shall decide as they see fit whether such financial assistance is given by way of a single grant or by way of continuing regular monthly, annual, or other payments.

Constitutional objectives

The Trustees will hold the whole residue of the said means and estate as a Capital Fund to administer and manage the Charitable Trust known as 'The Ronnie Taylor Memorial Trust' The trustees shall direct the income or capital as they in their uncontrolled discretion think proper for the relief of hardship suffered by the dependants of any person who is a resident in Scotland, and who has been the victim of an accident, fatal or otherwise, at sea and in particular the victim of an accident in the Off-shore Petroleum Industry within the British Sector. And my Trustees shall decide as they see fit whether such financial assistance is given by way of a single grant or by way of continuing regular monthly, annual, or other payments.
