Constitutional objectives
The objects for which the Trust is established are to: (i) promote for the public benefit the appropriate repair of Scotland's traditional and historic buildings. (ii) advance education through the provision of advice, training and practical experience in the use of lime for the repair and conservation of such buildings. (iii) promote and further the preservation and development of Scottish building traditions, crafts and skills. (iv) promote for the public benefit the use of environmentally appropriate building technology and materials. and (v) preserve for the benefit of the people of Scotland the historical, architectural and constructional heritage that may exist in Scotland, in land, buildings or other structures of particular beauty or historical, architectural or constructional interest.
