Constitutional objectives
The Trustees shall apply the Trust Fund and the income thereof or any part of such income for such charitable purposes (in the sense in which that expression is used in the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 as such may be amended or modified from time to time) as they in their uncontrolled discretion shall from time to time think fit including, without prejudice to the foregoing generality and without restricting the Trustees in any way in the exercise of their discretionary powers but by way of a guide to the Trustees, the provision of services and encouragement of projects for the benefit of the homeless, the relief of poverty, the provision of shelter, sustenance, clothing, care, counselling and other services and support to persons in need and those suffering hardship and to those ends to establish residential projects for the homeless, residential long term care for the elderly and to provide such counselling for alcohol and other substance abuse as may be necessary.
