What the charity exists to do

The charity exists to provide conservation to 625 hectares of wild rugged and remote land, and to promote the enjoyment and education / understanding of the land through activities, education and the arts.

Constitutional objectives

The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1. Protect and enhance the biodiversity of the Celtic rainforest, moorland and marine habitats of Tireragan 4.2. The advancement of education and science through regular surveys of fauna and flora and by sharing an understanding of the environment of Tireragan with visitors via displays at the entrance, citizen science projects and the website.
