02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The purpose of the Trust shall be to advance the education of the public concerning the Stewart Heritage in particular by: acquiring from the Society, maintaining and developing the Collection to represent, illustrate and document the Stewart Heritage. a) Books, papers relevant to Stewart genealogy and periodicals relevant to Stewart Heritage purchased and available through the library. b)Information and research about Stewart Heritage and genealogy available on the website. c)e) The annual magazine is available to non-members at Edinburgh central Library, Glasgow Mitchell Library, New York Central library, British Library, National Library for Scotland and it is also available as a pdf on the website from 2021 onwards. Articles available as pdfs for researchers.
