02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We aim to keep the hall in good condition to allow the community to have a focal point a place to come together, reduce social isolation, and to share in community events, learning, leisure, and fun. Our objectives are: o The advancement of education o The advancement of health o The advancement of citizenship or community development o The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture, and science o The advancement of public participation in sport o The advancement of environmental protection and improvement o The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, and/or other disadvantages o Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.

Constitutional objectives

The trust subjects shall be held by the Trustees for the purposes of a Village Hall, Reading Room and Recreation Club for the use of the inhabitants of Premnay and environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and the objects of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
