02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

By providing a weekly Social Club evening, our members lives are enhanced, their social and cultural opportunities are widened, enabling them to meet their friends, share interests and activities, plus opportunities to make new friends, thereby, widening their social mobility and potentially improving their mental wellbeing, When meeting members in the town, or supporting them in their homes, etc. our members often share about how much they enjoy the TClub and are looking forward to what will be happening in future sessions, giving them a common subject, that they enjoy. The “TClub” helps people with mental health and wellbeing problems, who may experience loneliness and isolation. enabling them to meet their friends, share interests and activities, plus opportunities to make new friends. Thereby, widening their social mobility and potentially improving their mental wellbeing, It makes a difference in our community, by providing a weekly Social Club evening for members

Constitutional objectives

The objectives of the Club shall be to provide a safe environment for those persons with learning disabilities, their peers and carers residing in the Buchan Area by co-ordinating, identifying and widening opportunities for them both social and cultural.
