02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Bishopmill Mutual Improvement Association is set up to provide and manage Bishopmill Hall as a community facility for local people. The charity aims to improve the quality of life in the Bishopmill area by offering a safe, welcoming space for social, recreational, and educational activities. It does this by maintaining the hall, making it available for hire to community groups and individuals, and supporting events and activities that bring people together, reduce isolation, and promote community wellbeing.

Constitutional objectives
The Hall shall be held by the Trustees for the purpose of physical and mental recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium or reading and recreation rooms, library, lectures, classes, recreation and entertainments, or otherwise as may be round expedient for the inhabitants of the Village of Bishopmill and its immediate vicinity without distinction of sex or of religions, political or other opinions
