Alva Play Pals Out Of School Care

Constitutional objectives

To promote the care and education of children of the residents of Alva and the Hilllfoots ('the Operating Area') in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leusure time occupations of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life and to enable parents to work or pursue further/higher education or training. To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area, particularly among young people and the unemployed. To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the Operating Area in optaining paid employment. To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a chartiable nature for the benefit of the community within the Operating Area. To promote trade and industry, for the benefit of the general public.
