Constitutional objectives
(1) To promote the care and education of children in the Renfrewshire Council Area('the operating area') in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays and to promote provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life and to enable parents to work or pursue further/higher education or training, and that without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinion. (2) To advance education among the residents of the operating area particularly among young people and the unemployed. (3) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the operating area in obtaining paid employment.
