02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

a. To relieve the needs of persons within Scotland who are substantially or permanently disabled by providing, or encouraging the provision of services which will improve their conditions of life and also facilitate their active participation in and full integration into society. To advance education amongst those who are substantially or permanently disabled. To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist those who are substantially or permanently disabled, or persons who assist in the care of those who are substantially or permanently disabled, in pursuing an independent life and aid their integration within the community generally.. To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community.
