02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our vision is to enhance life chances for people with disabilities across Forth Valley through sport and physical activity. This is achieved through a collaborative, aspirational and inclusive approach with key partners, we will create opportunities, develop people and build a sustainable network across Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling.

Constitutional objectives

To encourage, promote and support opportunities for sport and physical recreation for people with a disability in the Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling areas, and in furtherance thereof but not otherwise the Association shall undertake the following activities:- Undertake an advocacy role for disability sport locally, regionally and nationally. Actively seek and access funding and sponsorship. Work in partnership with key agencies involved in disability sport and physical recreation, i.e. Scottish Disability Sport, sportscotland, Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling Councils.
