Constitutional objectives
2.1 To provide emotional and practical support to women and children who have been raped, sexually assaulted or otherwise sexually abused. and, in particular, to relieve isolation and distress, advance education, further health and improve the conditions of life of the aforementioned by: the dissemination of information about all forms of sexual assault and the needs of women and children who have experienced them. the giving of support to those women and children. the promotion of quality support for such women and children. encouraging statutory authorities and other agencies to ensure the legal and other rights of women and children in the above categories. the promot ion of a safer and healthier environment for women and children.
