The organisation’s mission is: ? To take responsibility for nationally important historic places of worship where no other viable alternative exists ? To share our expertise ? To support those with similar objectives ? To inspire people to see the contribution historic places of worship make to society, wellbeing, and the economy, and to work with others to realise this potential ? To help build an understanding of the nature, extent and condition of the ecclesiastical heritage and its value and relevance in a changing world ? To influence positive policy and decision-making in managing and sustaining the ecclesiastical heritage
