02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is a branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. Its objective is to advance the education of the public in the Helensburgh and District area in traditional Scottish Country Dancing. To do this it provides adult classes both for beginners and more experienced dancers, it holds dances and functions and it supports the teaching of children in Scottish Country Dancing. Its activities are promoted via Social Media and the branch website.

To provide or assist in providing instruction in the dances of Scottish Country Dances. To promote the enjoyment and appreciation of Scottish Country Dancing and Music by any suitable means. Generally to do such other things as are or may be considered by the Branch to further the aims of the society.
