What the charity exists to do
SEALL is a multi arts promoter based in the Skye, Raasay and Lochalsh region. We offer multi disciplinary arts experiences to our remote and geographically challenging region to enable exposure to the arts across all age ranges in our community. We use community halls and venue spaces across the region, working under the maxim that we will bring the performance to the audience. We host performances of all sizes, from small village halls to 600+ people at the Portree Community Centre. We also run a series of community programmes. Our embedded Gaelic Officer runs a Gaelic language programme and workshops across the region. in conjunction with Bord na Gaelic. Our Culture Collective projects focus on arts experiences for our regions young people, from early years in the regions Primary Schools to workshops with senior school young adults to create pathways to performance.
