02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Brooklands Education Trust exists to support the provision of independent education. It does this by owning and maintaining educational premises which are used by OneSchool Global UK to operate schools. The charity also provides grants and donations to support educational activities and improvements to facilities where appropriate. The Trust manages its property and financial resources to ensure they continue to be available for educational purposes and to benefit current and future pupils.

Constitutional objectives

To provide assistance to parents or guardians who wish to educate their children otherwise than at school within the provisions of the education acts and any other relevant legislation or the education of children beyond compulsory school age for children who have learning difficulties. To establish where the Trustees consider it to be necessary or desirable a school either primary or secondary for the education of such children.
