02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The whole of the Trust Fund is to be held for the benefit of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and to be used to assist with the purchase from time to time, as appropriate opportunities arise, of modern Scottish paintings, drawings and sculptures for the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. This is at the Trustees discretion to fulfil these objectives. to make these donations, the trust is reliant on income and investment returns from its investment portfolio.
