What the charity exists to do
The trust owns and maintains the buildings on site of Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and operates the Visitor Centre, café and oversees public access to the lighthouse tower, the structure of which remains the responsibility of the Northern Lighthouse Board.

The company has been formed to benefit the community of West Ardnamurchan which comprises the postcode units PH36 4LG, PH36 4LH, PH36 4LJ, PH36 4LL, PH36 4LN, PH36 4LP, PH36 4LQ, PH36 4LW, PH36 4JG, PH36 4JP, PH36 4JQ and PH36 4JW (“the Community”) with the following objects: To advance the education of the public concerning Ardnamurchan Lighthouse (a Grade A listed complex), its use and place in history and as a site of specific scientific, natural and maritime interest by:
