02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for people living and working in the McLaren High School catchment area and beyond. We aim to do this by working together with local authorities, community organisations, and residents to: • Provide opportunities for education, recreation, and social activities that bring people together. • Offer access to sports, coaching, leisure activities, and events—whether participating, learning, or spectating—that promote health, wellbeing, and community spirit. To support these goals, we are committed to: 1. Creating and maintaining a community leisure and sports centre. 2. Developing and improving facilities to meet the needs of the community. 3. Collaborating with other organisations to manage and deliver activities that benefit everyone

Constitutional objectives
To promote the benefit of persons in particular but not restricted to those living or working within the catchment area of McLaren High School, Callander without distinction of sex or of political religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide and make available facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation including without prejudice to the foregoing generality the participation in, coaching of, instruction of and spectating of any sport or leisure activity which can conveniently be carried on thereat all with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said persons and others. To establish or to secure the stablishment of a community leisure and sports centre, to develop land and to construct refurbish or alter and maintain and from time to time renew any building required for such a centre, and to manage or to co-operate with any national or local statutory authority or any other body (incorporated or unincorporated) or person in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the Company.
