Constitutional objectives

a. The advancement of education and awareness raising about learning disabilities, through the provision of formal and informal training in educational bodies such as schools and further education colleges, as well as in the public, private and voluntary and public sectors, including community groups. b. The advancement of citizenship including the rights and responsibilities of the citizen, as well as: the development of opportunities for people with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people to be more active in their communities, involving people in community activity including volunteering. c. The advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation through our advocacy services. d The promotion of equality and diversity including the elimination of discrimination e. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, contributing to the prevention or relief of poverty through information and advocacy.
