What the charity exists to do
The charitable purposes are the advancement of education and the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. This is achieved by arranging meetings for education, discussion and friendship. Arranging events for women to meet with other women for craft activities, to hear from local speakers, and attend meetings with other members of the SWI organisation, locally, in the south-west area of Scotland and nationally. To promote the SWI and the culture of the local area.
