Constitutional objectives

a. To promote the care and education of children of the residents of Shawlands ('the Operating Area') in need of care during out of school hours and school holidays and to promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupations of such children in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life and to enable parents to work or pursue furthed/higher education or training. b. To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area, particularly among youns people and the unemployed. C. To promote and/ or provide training in skiiIs of all kinds, particuIarly such skills as will assist residents of the Operating Area in obtaining paid emploment. d. To promote establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benetft of the community within the Operating Area. To promote trade and industry, for the benefit of the general public
