Constitutional objectives

The said Trustees are directed after payment of the whole expenses of administration of the Trust created hereby to apply the whole or such part ot the income of the Trust estate or even of the capital thereof, as the Trustees may in their sole discretion decide to existing or future charitable institutions, societies, associations, objects and/or indigent persons, and without prejudice thereto the Trustees shall have power to contribute, promote, foster, encourage, further or otherwise benefit such charitable purposes connected with education, and/or music and/or any sphere of the arts generally and to promote, organise or carry out educational activities in connection therewith as they may in their sole discretion think fit, and generally to do all such things as are incidental or conducive to the continuance and development of such activities or the attainment of such charitable purposes, subject always to the strict proviso that any payments of any kind made by the said Trustees asherein directed shall only be to institutions, societies, associations, objects, indigent persons endlor other bodies for charitable purposes. In this Clause, and throughout this Trust Deed, the word 'charitable' shall have the meaning ascribed to it for the purposes of both Section 505 of the Income and also Corporation Taxes Act 1988, and the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 including any statutory amendment or re-enactment for the time being in force.
