02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To provide support for activities that promote the study of the history of medicine by students of medicine and related disciplines. For example, we provide research grants to enable students to complete research projects, we provide travel grants for students to attend relevant conferences, we sponsor student prizes at meetings and an eponymous lecture aimed at students.
