What the charity exists to do

The charity’s object and principal activity are to promote the following purposes within the Glasgow City and Renfrewshire area: ? The advancement of citizenship and community development ? The advancement of public participation in sport ? The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, which is children/young people ? The charity’s current main activities include running football and netball sections for young people, as well as offering a range of community activities

To assist young people in Greater Govan mainly, but not exclusively, through leisure time activities to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities so that they may grow to full majority as individuals and members of Society and in furtherance thereof: (i) to find new interests and to form effective relationships with other people. and (ii) to organise and conduct such leisure time activities for themselves thus learning to accept and handle responsibility.
